| I can be aware of my surroundings without constantly worrying about the potential threat of ctatstrophe from evry single thing around me at every given moment. If you want to live that way, that's fine. I prefer not to have a heart attack before I turn 30 due to stressful living habits. The instance I offered was incredibly rare, it was literally like I was psychic and maybe God himself whispered into my mind that it was going to happen. Had nothing to do with defensive driving habits or whatever. Regardless I still swerved and locked up the brakes. I do not care to assume I am going to be in a wreck 24/7 due to someone else, it does not mean I close my eyes and set the cruise control and bebop around town oblivious to what is going on around me either. There is a balance, and it is perfectly normal to live within that balance. And despite all efforts, if chance dictates that you are going to be in a crash, then you are going to be in a crash no matter what. Instinct is for self preservation and if your interest in self preservation may save your Z from unnecessarily bending metal with another car, then that is more than understandibly normal too.
